  1. Love Barbara's yoga DVD's and her instruction 5 Star Review

Posted by on 1st Jan 2014

Recently added these yoga dvd's to my collection of yoga DVD's. I've had one of Barbara's for years and really love her instruction. These dvd's have added a wonderful variety of routines and the benefit has been that being able to mix up the workouts is keeping me more focussed and helping me stick to a regular routine of yoga each week. My flexibility and strength has improved and I continue to see improvements. Instructions and coaching tips are easy to follow and the variety in routines is beneficial for beginners and non-beginners alike. Beautiful background settings and the restful music adds to overall experience of the workout. These dvd's have helped me make yoga a regular part of my weekly activity. The improvement in my overall strength, flexibility and stamina has a positive impact on my endurance and helps me implement warmups to stretch before or relax muscle tension after playing tennis, hiking or in other sports.

  2. Encouraging for Beginners 5 Star Review

Posted by on 16th Dec 2013

The instructions are easy to follow with modifications for beginners. I find the background noise relaxing.

  3. Addicting! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 17th Apr 2011

I agree with the enthusiastic reviews. I started out with the single DVD Yoga for Stress Relief, which I love to follow the routines and mix and match to make my own routines. I ordered the 3 DVD set and found more richness in the other two DVDs as well. The AM/PM Yoga for Beginners is slightly more strenuous than the Stress Relief DVD, when you want a stronger stretch. The Yoga for Inflexible people is a misnomer. It is really a yoga tutorial for proper alignment of the basic stances that is really helpful for learning. It also can get pretty strenous as you advance through. I go to my instructor once in awhile, but I use these DVDs every day!

  4. Amazing Resource 5 Star Review

Posted by on 11th Nov 2010

I loved Yoga for Inflexible people, so many routines and guidance how to do postures when you have limitations. I just started Yoga For Stress Relief...with 5 hours of routines! Not only is there so much offered, this is a high quality productions...well paced narration, nice scenery and good guidance. I am here to buy these DVDs for myself, as I had checked them out initially from Netflix and my local library.

  5. So many great yoga routines! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 17th Jul 2010

There are so many yoga routines on this that you can always learn something new - especially for people new to yoga. The teaching is really good and I love the interviews with the Dalai Lama. His insights on relaxing the mind and meditation are great - also on how to find happiness.
