    I have been doing yoga for over 10 years and have had many instructors and viewed many DVD's on yoga.I need structure and have always had the need to attend class.However,with Barbara it is not necessary and as a matter of fact I start my day and end my day watching her routines.I particularly enjoy how the routines are defined based on what I want to do at any given time. She is very positive and very astute in explaining every position.I could not be more pleased and have recommended her to many of my yoga classmates.

    I have been practicing yoga for a year now with a great instructor a couple times per month. However, for about a year I use this DVD several times a week I to build my flexibility and deal with back tensions and digestive issues. I find it so helpful because as I learn the routines I can tell each day which one I need and pick and choose exercises if necessary. I still have not explored all the routines, as I treat it like a chapter book and keep returning to the chapters I like. Every time I try a new chapter, I discover at least one exercise or combination that helps me learn and feel better. This is not a strengthening routine, however some of the exercises do get strenuous. Beginners should have a real live instructor about once a week to teach good form. As a demonstrator, Barbara Benagh maintains good form at all times and I think my yoga instructor would approve.

    While I would not necessarily classify this DVD as a "workout", it does provide excellent stress relief and methods to target specific areas of the body. I love the Lower Back Tension segment, which really helps ease the tension in my lower back and related tightness in my hips/hamstrings. Barbara's voice is soothing, and she provides a nice balance of instruction/pointers and silence.
